Switching is easier than you think. Keep your numbers.

Moving from another call tracking provider? We will port your existing numbers, rebuild your routing and have you running in parallel before anything changes.

What we do for you

  1. Plan. We look at your current numbers, routing and integrations and agree a switch date.
  2. Set up in parallel. We build your routing, recording settings, tags and integrations in Call Tracked while your current provider keeps working.
  3. Port your numbers. We handle the port with your current provider. Numbers on vans, print and listings do not need to change.
  4. Swap the website script. Replace one line of code, or let us do it with you on a call.
  5. Check everything. We test each number on switch day and stay close for the first week.

Moving your existing number in

We port your numbers for you. Here is how it works in the app:

  1. Fill in the account details and upload a recent bill.
  2. We send you a letter of authority to sign, filled in for you.
  3. Sign it, upload it, and we handle the rest with your current provider.
  4. You'll get an email when the date is booked and when it's moved.

Your number keeps ringing throughout.

How long it takes

Most moves take two to three weeks, mostly waiting for the number port. Your website tracking can switch over the same day you sign up.

Your history

Ask your current provider for an export of your call history. We can import it so your reports show a continuous picture rather than starting from zero.

Before you give notice

Check your current contract's notice period, and do not cancel your old account until your numbers have been ported. Cancelling first can release the numbers, and then they cannot be moved.

Frequently asked questions

Will calls be lost during the port?

No. The switch happens at the network level and calls keep connecting throughout. We schedule it for a quiet time.

Can every number be ported?

Almost all UK geographic, 03 and 0800 numbers can be ported. A few numbers held on unusual arrangements cannot. We check before you commit.

Does switching cost anything?

We do not charge for helping you switch. Some providers charge a fee to release numbers, so it is worth checking your contract.
